Hi there, Reilly Scribbner here to share an imaginary story with you. If I’m honest, I have to tell you that I still read fairy-tales and I like them best of all, and there are few things in life that I relate to more than those words. Since then, fairy-tales have become iconic with children’s literature and associated as being solely for children, even though nothing has guided me through life quite the same way as fairy-tales have, no matter how old I am. Deeper meaning resides in the fairy-tales taught to me in my childhood than any truth that is taught in life.
Fairy Dust
My earliest memory of the supernatural was before I could even talk. I used to watch pretty glowing lights flying above my bed and I always wanted to join them up there! When I was about four years old, my mother took me to visit her friend and I played in her garden, collecting lavender and daydreaming. Afterwards, I was given a coloring book to look at. It was such an amazing moment, because for the first time I had a name for the magical flying things – they were fairies. As I grew up, these lights appeared less frequently. But when they did visit, they were spectacular.
The most efficient way to attract fairies is to set up plenty of rhinestones, to live in a generally wild and nature-filled area, and most importantly, make a beautiful house for them to live in. I made a rainbow fairy house made out of popsicle sticks with glitter embellishments in an area surrounded by large trees and immense bushes. I call it "Fairyscape Gardens". Once, I was hanging around there and I discovered that my fairy house attracted the most beautiful creature ever!
Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice!
It was a magical bunny who is part fairy, butterfly, and unicorn. Her name is Callister Drizzledrops. She possesses many powers that allow her to grant special wishes, produce thunderous claps from her butterfly wings, fire lasers from her unicorn horn, and her paws can shoot Easter eggs! But whenever she's angry, her fur becomes rainbow, her horn and wings are even rainbow, and her sharp claws are multicolored. Not to mention she is significantly strong enough to destroy a door and can defeat almost anyone who gets in her way. Along with this, Callister has the power to instill great fear in people, and just one stare reduces her victims into a horrified state and sometimes she can even transform into a hulking version of herself.
And like I'm trying to say, she is a bunny of high culture. Callister is determined, headstrong and short-tempered, but also a really good friend that everyone will know and love very well. Callister cares very deeply for all her friends, so much that she is always very protective of them. By extension, she will often grant wishes to everyone... including me! And because of this, she is primarily known for using her fairy wand. She was born in a magical land full of bunnies, unicorns, butterflies, and fairies (as she is a unique combination of them all which makes her stand out).
As Callister waves her wand, a rainbow of fairy dust flies through the air, turning the flowers into red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink. She waved her wand and created for me 3 gifts. A magical sparkle guitar, a magical singing voice, and some magical songs in my head. She also sent me on a trip through Fellacious Forrest.
Make A Wish!
I feel completely joyful and I am so lucky to have an imaginary friend like Callister. After that experience, I decided to tell everyone about Fairyscape Gardens. It's an enchanting place for people to connect with these magical beings. One of the best things about my job is sharing the happiness and positivity that fairies bring into the lives of so many people. Every day, I receive letters describing how these little creatures have enriched their lives. Taking care of wildlife by building bug hotels, planting flowers that attract bees, feeding hummingbirds, creating wildflower meadows or even the smallest act of picking up a piece of trash makes a big difference to the fairy folks. They are nature's little guardians and we all have a responsibility to help them protect the beautiful planet we live on. Building fairy shelters and putting out food is fun – it's good for the environment, gets you outdoors and interacting with Mother Earth too. Fairies rescued me... now I'm saving them!
