There was an arid heat in Ancient Egypt. A cool breeze came from the Mediterranean Sea into the Pharaoh’s palace in Alexandria. The palace, with gold walls, pictures of previous pharaohs, and a royal green carpet, dressed the room. To the right of Ramses, the Pharaoh of Egypt, his advisor, Xerxes, was sitting by his side, warning him of a potential war with Greece; “I’ve heard rumors that Greece might be planning a war against Egypt!”. Ramses replied, “This is all a hoax because the King of Greece is my ally!”.
